March 26—nine months ago—Black Falls, Vermont

The Cameron brothers were in town that night. Hannah Shay watched them enter O'Rourke's from her perch on a high stool at the rough-wood bar. She couldn't remember when she'd last seen them together. A.J., the eldest, was down from the mountain lodge the family owned and he ran with his wife. Elijah was home briefly from war. Sean had flown in from Southern California between fighting wildfires and making his fortune.

As they gathered at a table on the far wall, under old black-and-white photographs of their small Vermont town, Hannah doubted they noticed her with the glass of char-donnay she'd been nursing for the past thirty minutes. She had no concerns about being at the bar alone. The owner, Liam O'Rourke, a longtime Cameron friend, had little tolerance for troublemakers—including ones who were blood-related. Everyone in Black Falls knew stepping out of line at O'Rourke's meant a boot out the door or a trip in the back of a police cruiser.

Even Bowie O'Rourke, Liam's cousin, had to know.

Bowie followed the Cameron men into the bar, shutting the door with a hard thud. He didn't take a table but instead stood two stools down from Hannah and ordered a beer. He was a stonemason and, at thirty-four, the same age as Elijah, three years younger than AJ. and a year older than Sean, but Bowie and the Cameron brothers had never gotten along. He was combative and often in trouble. They were rigid and often unforgiving. He'd finally moved away from Black Falls in his early twenties, but he was back now.

Built like an ox, Bowie wore a down vest over an orange hooded sweatshirt, jeans and scuffed work boots. He and Hannah had grown up in a hollow up on the river. Isolated and poor, it was a different Vermont from the one the Camerons and most people in Black Falls had experienced.

Without acknowledging anyone else, Bowie looked up at the basketball game on TV while he waited for his beer.

The Camerons tensed visibly at their table but didn't move to leave.

Hannah considered quietly easing off her stool, paying for her wine and getting out of there. Her younger brothers needed her help with homework, and she had studying of her own to do. She'd turn thirty this year. Time to finish law school and get on with her legal career. She was also part-owner of a breakfast-lunch café just down Main Street from O'Rourke's. The café closed at three o'clock—hours ago— but she kept the books and managed the staff as well as cooked and cleaned, and work could go well into the night. It probably would tonight.

Two more sips, she thought, lifting her glass and trying to stifle a rush of self-consciousness. It was a stubborn demon she thought she'd finally conquered, but with Bowie just down the bar and A.J., Elijah and Sean Cameron at their table in their canvas jackets and hiking boots, with their very blue eyes and square jaws and scars from hard work, fighting fires and fighting wars, she found herself wishing she'd stayed away and hadn't taken this time for herself. She hadn't bothered with makeup, and she'd pulled on a long wool skirt, sweater and boots more for comfort and warmth than style. Her blond hair, which she'd hastily tied back at dawn, had to be stringy by now.

But how would she know? She hadn't taken a half second to check herself in the mirror before she'd set out for her hour on her own.

Her sudden self-consciousness had nothing to do with A.J., a happily married father of two young children, or Elijah, a Special Forces soldier who'd left Vermont at nineteen—all but kicked out of town by his own father. No, Hannah thought. Sean was the Cameron who could have her forget she was a top law student and a successful businesswoman.

Nothing new there.

All three were competent, good-looking men anyone would want to have as allies and rescuers and dread to have as enemies. Their sister, Rose, the youngest, one of Hannah's closest friends, was likewise competent and attractive, but she was out of town with Ranger, her search-and-rescue dog.

Sean was considered the charmer of the three brothers, but only in contrast to AJ. and Elijah. Hannah had never been intimidated by any of them, but that didn't mean she didn't wish they hadn't come to town tonight.

As she sipped the last of her wine, Sean seemed just now to see her. He smiled that devastating smile she'd first noticed back in high school Latin class, when she'd been an eager freshman—at thirteen, a year younger than most other freshmen—and he'd been a bored senior, a star athlete who'd had no interest in Latin. He'd just needed a class that fit his schedule and provided the needed credits for him to graduate. She remembered a rainy afternoon when she was the sole student who'd known that Dido and Aeneas was a Henry Purcell opera based on the tragic love affair between the queen of Carthage and a Trojan refugee. Proud of her answer, Hannah had heard laughter behind her. No idea what it was about, she'd turned around and seen Sean Cameron's smile, those blue eyes, and realized he was laughing at her.

She hadn't let him see how mortified she was and had redoubled her efforts to maintain an A in class—not that it was much of a victory when Sean was happy to squeak by with a D. What did he care about an A in Latin? He was on to bigger and better things.

She tipped her glass to him now and gave him a warm but reserved smile. She wasn't thirteen anymore, and as sexy and appealing as all the Cameron men were, she'd never had any serious romantic interest in Sean or his brothers. She had plans of her own, ones that wouldn't fit into the life of a driven, blue-eyed Cameron.

Out of the corner of her eye, she watched Bowie O'Rourke raise his beer with a callused, scarred hand. He'd first learned his trade working after school and summers with Hannah's father, Tobias Shay, who'd led his own troubled life before ramming his car into a tree sixteen years ago. She had learned not to speak of her father in Black Falls. Who remembered him now? Who even wanted to?

"I do," Hannah whispered.

She stared at her chardonnay, wondering where the words had come from. Why was Bowie even back in Black Falls? Short-fused and on the verge of doing time, he had finally figured out that he and his hometown weren't a good mix and moved up to Burlington ten years ago. Last October, he'd purchased his family's old place out on the river. He'd spent the rest of the fall and the winter fixing it up and had moved in a few weeks ago.

Hannah could see her father leading her and Bowie through the woods above the river as they searched for old cellar holes—the foundations of long-abandoned homes. He'd imagine where those early Vermont settlers had ended up. Ohio? Wisconsin? San Francisco? He'd turn to them with a grin and ask why his ancestors hadn't cleared out of northern New England.

He and Bowie both had always been at their happiest, their most controlled, in the woods.

Hannah wasn't yet fourteen when her father died. Her younger brothers didn't remember him at all. Devin was two, Toby just one. Nine years later, they lost their mother to an infection from a tick bite. Hannah had navigated the legal battles to become her brothers' legal guardian. They were eighteen and seventeen now. They'd be out on their own before long.

A loud male voice shouting insults from a table toward the back of the bar drew Hannah's attention. She didn't think the insults were directed at anyone in particular, but she didn't intend to stick around to find out. She eased off the stool and reached for her jacket on the floor. She slipped a ten-dollar bill out of a pocket, tucked it under her glass and turned to leave.

The voice grew louder.

Derek Cutshaw.

Although she couldn't make out what he was saying, Hannah tensed as she started for the door. Derek and his friends Robert Feehan and Brett Griffin had been in O'Rourke's when she'd arrived. They were private ski instructors who didn't live in Black Falls but would sometimes stop at the café on their way to Killington, Okemo or Stratton. They'd struck her as arrogant, but she'd never had serious trouble with them.

She'd never seen them drunk, either.

"I see you took off your apron to sit at the bar and booze it up." Derek chortled, obviously pleased with himself. "Good for you, Hannah. You wouldn't want people to think you were your mother's daughter."

She laid her jacket over one arm. So. His insults were directed at her. Her mother had worked at O'Rourke's, making a living for her and her three children. Had she endured comments—however rare—from people who had their own prejudices and fantasies about an attractive young widow of limited means?

Derek didn't relent. "A secondhand jacket for a secondhand girl."

Robert laughed at his friend's awkward insult and gave him a better gibe to try on her, but Derek shifted to bragging about his recent female conquests. Hannah felt her face grow hot. Do they mean me? Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the Camerons look over from their table. Would they hear the insults and innuendos and believe them?

Embarrassed and angry, she headed for the door. She didn't care how cold it was outside, she had no intention of spending another second listening to drunken insults.

"Hold on, there," Derek yelled. "You can't leave. Who the hell do you think you are?"

Hannah could see him coming toward her from the back of the bar and jumped back, dropping her jacket. She stepped on the sleeve and slipped just as Derek got to her, swearing, drunkenly slurring the taunts he aimed at her. She tried to find her footing but couldn't. She went down hard, putting out her hands to brace her fall. Pain radiated up both arms, but she immediately got up onto her knees.

Derek and his friend Robert both stood over her now, laughing. Derek bent down and got in her face. He was as fair as she was and very fit, clad in ski clothes, but his face was contorted with anger, entitlement and alcohol. "That's a good position for you," he spat at her. "You can tell your—"

"That's enough."

Bowie. Hannah recognized his voice. "No, don't," she said, grabbing the edge of a table and pulling herself back onto her feet.

Derek and Robert both spun around at Bowie. Brett Griffin was up now, too. One of the men shoved a table into Hannah, pinning her against the wall. Frantic, angry enough now to throw a chair at someone, she pushed the table away from her, striking Derek in the upper legs. He started to leap over the table to her, but Bowie got one of Derek's arms and twisted it behind him. Robert came at him, and Bowie stomped him on the instep. He went down in pain.

Hannah came to her senses. "Bowie, stop." She didn't know if he could hear her. "These bastards aren't worth a jail sentence."

He loosened his grip on Derek, who repaid the favor by lunging for Hannah. She reached for a chair to defend herself, but before he could get to her, a strong male arm clamped her around her waist. She didn't see who it belonged to and jabbed a sharp elbow into an iron abdomen. The man who had her didn't break his stride as he lifted her off her feet and carried her out the door.

Kicking and clawing, Hannah was down the steps and into the March cold before she'd caught her next breath. The man released her, but she was so off balance from fighting him, she almost landed butt-first in a puddle. She managed to stay on her feet and spun around, ready to pound whoever had just hauled her out of O'Rourke's.

"Hold on. I'm on your side." Sean Cameron licked a split knuckle, the steady, cold drizzle already collecting on his dark hair and obviously expensive long black coat. He must have brought it from California with him. He certainly hadn't bought it in Black Falls. He grinned at her. "I never thought I'd be carting Hannah Shay out of a bar brawl."

Anyone else, and Hannah would have pulled herself together and marched home. But Sean? She didn't know whether she was mortified or just really irritated that he'd been the one to get her out of O'Rourke's. She could hear grunts and thuds, breaking glass and swearing, as the fight went on inside.

Police sirens sounded down the street.

She was breathing hard, the insults fresh in her mind. It wasn't me, she wanted to scream. That bastard didn't mean me.

Hannah adjusted her twisted skirt. "I didn't ask for your help."

"You're welcome," Sean said with a mock bow.

She shivered, wondering how many of the insults he'd heard in the dark, noisy bar. She swallowed, tasting blood. She realized she'd cut the inside of her lip. She managed a smile. "Sorry. Thank you for your help."

AJ. and Elijah came out of the bar. Elijah handed Hannah her jacket without comment. She slipped it on, the cold rain already soaking into her hair. The three Camerons stood in front of her, controlled, steady—she'd been the one out of control.

Of course. She was a Shay.

"Go home, Hannah," AJ. said.

His wife, Lauren, was one of the nicest people in Black Falls. She hadn't grown up there, but she was respected and well-liked for her kindness and her love for AJ. and their two young children. Her husband, however, wasn't known for his patience, especially with Hannah.

The sirens were louder now. She could feel where the table had hit her in the hip. "If the police want to talk to me—"

Elijah stopped her midsentence. "They won't," he said.

Sean's eyes seemed black in the Vermont night. "I'll take you home."

"No," she blurted, panicked at the idea of walking down the street with him, or, worse yet, being in a vehicle with him, but she calmed herself and managed a smile. "Thank you."

A.J., Elijah and Sean paid no attention to the commotion inside O'Rourke's. Shaking with the cold and adrenaline, Hannah tried to make out Bowie's voice. She wanted him to appear in the doorway and say he'd walked away from this fight, as he hadn't so many fights in his past.

But he didn't, and she zipped up her jacket and started for the bar entrance.

Sean touched her shoulder. "You're not going back in there."

Had potential....
By Timothy Spear
I bought this book because the summary sounded interesting. I have read books in the middle of series before, but with this one I had a lot of trouble following the plot. The writing was shaky and very presumptive that you've read the book that came before. But the way the story was written did not leave me wanting to find the previous book so I could understand this one. I tried very hard to finish the book, give it a chance, but, as my kids say, this was an epic fail. I feel like I was talked down to, was shorted in character development and plot suspense development. I read countless romantic suspense, and this is not one I would recommend.

Drowning in the cold river
By J. Taylor
I am shocked by the other reviews - I could not disagree more! I generally really like Carla Neggers writing, and particularly the Cold River series. However I think she basically phoned this one in. I recognize that it is important to remind readers of what occurred in a previous book, but that is all she does in this. She must have restated that the main character, Hannah Shay's, brother was almost killed on the mountain by 2 killers 25 times. Its amazing this book isn't longer it is so redundant. Hopefully, this is just one slip up, and not a new trend for her.

strong romantic suspense
By A Customer
Eight months ago, Drew Cameron was murdered on Cameron Mountain in Vermont. Those who killed him also died; that is everyone except the person who hired the professional hit men. Drew's sons Sean and his brothers (see Cold Purist for Elijah's tale) believe Hannah Shay, owner of Her Three Sisters Café in nearby Black Falls, Vermont, is the key to their finding out who the culprit really was.

However, Sean approaches Hannah asking for her assistance, but she refuses as she is afraid her friend Bowie O'Rourke is in the middle of the blood flowing down Cameron Mountain. However, someone with less ethics when it comes to homicide awaits the right moment to learn what Hannah knows before killing her. Sean vows to keep the obstinate Hannah safe as he believes she is in the crosshairs and besides he has loved her since high school.

The latest Black Falls "Cold" thriller is a strong romantic suspense that turns pristine Green Mountain state into a dark grim landscape. Drew and Hannah are a delightful pairing as he knows somehow she is the center of danger, but she rejects his offers of protection out of loyalty. Fans will relish Carla Neggers' tense action-packed thriller that never slows down throughout the exhilarating story line.

Very Good Writing, Needs a bit more liberating imagination.
By B. Marold
`Best Bondage Erotica 2' edited by Alison Tyler follows very closely in the footsteps of the first volume with this title. In fact, as I looked back at my review of `Best Bondage Erotica 1', I found almost exactly the same thoughts which came to mind upon reading the new collection.

To restate my original impressions in a slightly different way, I find that the one thing these collections are lacking is the kind of imagination dedicated to Domination / Submission scenarios and lifestyles as I find in some conventional fiction. The outstanding examples I can cite are some of Edgar Allen Poe's short stories such as `The Pit and the Pendulum' and `The Cast of Amontillado'; some of Stephen King's novels such as `Misery' and `Gerald's Game'; at least two episodes from each of the television shows `CSI' and `CSI:NY'. It seems as if all the very talented writers represented in this collection either do not realize the psychic / erotic power of some of these images, or they prefer playing it safe. What I am almost certain they are missing is the great liberating power of fiction, an insight which goes all the way back to Aristotle (`Poetics').

Instead, almost all of our authors rely on virtually the same tired scenario of good but slightly naughty girl finds herself with a dangerous but handsome and strong man who immobilizes her with (rope, chains, handcuffs, sofa, scarves, neckties .. you pick one) and commits some less than bourgeois form of foreplay with (hand, dildo, whip, scarf, clamps, ... you pick one) followed by cataclysmic climax and revelation that she and Mr. Tall and Handsome are really (good friends, lovers, former lovers, office mates,... you pick one). You get the idea. The variety in which this same simple scenario is played out is quite welcome. Especially welcome is the lack of cutsie Victorian dialogue of girlish squeals and testosterone fuelled snarling.

What all authors seem to have fallen into is the rut of recounting things that are feasible and, in most states, legal in the real world. The problem is that the imagination often wants more. How can you possibly explain the interest in things as diverse, and as improbable, as `Lord of the Rings', `Sin City', and the `Mad Max' movies if it were not to satisfy the itch to participate in an experience which is much, much, much larger than life.

The editor and the authors may benefit from the fact that they are the only game in town. Quentin Tarantino only buries a victim in every fifth movie and we have at least another few months before Peter Jackson reprises Fay Wray's first encounter with her very tall, dark stranger, and heaven knows where Stephen King is going these days.

So, there is simply no interest in truly imaginative fantasy evocations of the abyss of emotion connected with the terror / abandonment / release of being in some great circumstance, the greatest of which is death. You almost have to go back to some of the stories of the early saints to experience the liberating power of putting your trust, body, and soul in the hands of some other power.

But these are still the best modern stories we've got, so read them with pleasure and keep looking. Oh, and by the way, the cover is again one of the better aspects of this volume.

Batman Epic done right
By Bruno M
DC finally makes a serious edition of the Batman: No Man's Land saga, publishing the whole epic, with all the main issues and tie-ins in a series of TPBs.

The story is great, both in its scope and execution, featuring an excellent opening story arc written by Bob Gale (screenwriter of the Back To The Future trilogy) and the incredible debut of Greg Rucka in the Batman mythos, who will be the main writer of the No Man's Land saga to its end.

This book edition is great, and a true bargain considering it's a 500 plus pages softcover for just 29.99 (less than 20 bucks with Amazon's discount). It was a GREAT surprise to notice that the paper stock used by DC for this edition is considerably better than the cheap lightweight paper stock they use for most of their TPBs editions (I own many GL and Batman TPBs and the difference is remarkable). The binding is glued but is really solid, so you won't have spine issues.

The book includes:
- Batman: No Man's Land #1
- Batman #563-566
- Detective Comics #730-733
- Batman: Shadow Of The Bat #83-86
- Batman: Legends Of The Dark Knigh #116-118
- Azrael: Agent Of The Bat #51-55
- Batman Chronicles #16

I have only 2 complaints about the book: many of the Azrael pages feature low or mid quality reproduction, it seems that those pages were scanned. But this only happens with the Azrael issues, the rest of the comic books are perfectly reproduced. And the cover gallery misses Batman 563 cover by Scott Campbell, lets hope they include it in Vol.2.

Another thing to note is that the "Road To No Man's Land" issues are NOT included. It would be great if DCs publishes a "Volume 0" featuring them after they complete this series, but don't worry, because No Man's Land reads just fine without them.

But all in all I'm extremely happy with this edition. This product features a SUPERB price/quality relationship and is truly deserving of its 5 stars.

Great Story, Great Quality, Great Art With Few Exceptions.
By David Howland
Hello fellow comic book fans!

I would like to extend to you a recommendation to buy this book. To tell you a bit about myself. I have had a very brief history with comics. I have only been into super-heroes and serious reading for about 4 months now, but have had quite extensive experience with Batman in the past through the many movies, animated series, and animated direct-to-DVD releases. Batman books I have read include: Dark Knight Returns, Dark Victory, Long Halloween, The Killing Joke, Knightfall Vol. 1-3, Year One, and Joker. Of course now I have read No Man's Land Vol. 1. So this is my basic piece on the book. It's not for beginners, I'll tell you three basic reasons why before I go into any detail. This book exposes the reader to a large amount of characters, which might be good or bad for a beginner, I know, but I'll also perhaps elaborate with the following reasons. There are many writers and artists who worked on this story, so there are a few character inconsistencies. Also, there are many stories that just plain don't star Batman. There are huge chunks of the book that heavily feature Jim Gordon, Huntress, and even just random survivors. So perhaps one should familiarize themselves with the setting of Gotham a bit more, as this is more a book about Gotham than it is about Batman.

Other people have gone into what issues this collects, so I won't repeat what they have said in any detail. I will, however, tell you the amount of content in this book is well worth $30. I've also noticed people aren't mentioning the difference between the old printings and the new in any detail. The 5 original TPBs allegedly (haven't read them) collect only 40 of the actual 80 issues printed for this event. This 3 part printing will feature all 80 issues in full color on better stock than the original collections. Be careful what you buy however, as the other two parts of this printing have not been released yet. This book includes appearances from the heroes: Azreal, Batman (of course), an unknown Batgirl, Huntress, Oracle, and Superman. There are also many short stories featuring survivors of the earthquake, a story about Alfred, Many featuring Gordon, and a very short story about Harold. Villains featured throughout are primarily: Black Mask, The Joker, The Penguin, Two Face, and The Ventriloquist. Some small appearances are made by Mister Freeze, and Zsasz. I do not know some of the Azreal villains, so I apologize for perhaps not recognizing them.

The art in these stories is normally breathtaking, and DC has done nothing short of amazing with the print quality. Very nice thick glossy stock. I noticed the binding is pretty strong, but the paper stock is very heavy, so be careful reading pages early and late in the book. I noticed some issues with some of the stories though, and what follows is why I removed a star. For one thing, the "Azreal: Agent Of The Bat" stories penciled by Roger Robinson and inked by James D. Pascoe look like they might have been scanned, or I dislike the artists, or both. These books look like they were drawn with magic markers. What I would imagine is they were originally intended to be printed on a very fibrous matte stock, where the blacks would carry over a little more subtle. I found myself disgusted with those 20-30 page sections, many times skimming the stories to get to better material. There was also one "Batman: Shadow Of The Bat #85" written by Ian Edgington and drawn/ colored by D'Isreali. The story I felt was very important, but they took a... rather creative approach with the art and writing. Batman seemed randomly campy and non-descript for this one, in contrast to the dark and interesting Batman featured in the rest of the book. Scene composition was also sloppy many times during this story. The art was too clean and seemed like it was drawn by Watterson (Calvin and Hobbes) or Smith (Bone). Everything was cartoon-like and exaggerated.

Though the above might dissuade you from your purchase, I assure you this piece is one of the best Batman books I have read.
It is also one of the best comics I have read so far. So, buy this without question as long as you have enough experience!

Different paperbacks
By MAR2D2
I just bought it, haven't read it yet, but I want to make clear NOW that this is the NEW paperback edition, which have been followed by a 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Before this new edition the No Man's Land saga was published in 5 smaller paperbacks with only the core storyline. These NEW editions are the complete story. So make sure which one you're gonna buy. The NEW paperbacks have some reviews under them of the OLD paperbacks.

It's a bit confusing, but I hope I made everything clear.

Great for beginners
By Matt
I got this book hoping it would not be a flop, and it definately is worth it for investers just starting out and looking for some guidance. It's tough to find a good book on the topic of investing that doesn't require a high base-line of knowledge, but also isn't a waste of time. This one is a great 'missing-link' for people who want to get started investing, but have no idea what a good or bad stock looks like.

The author starts out by going over the basics like what exactly a stock really is, and why people buy them in the first place. Even for intermediate investors, I think this is a good refresher on what you're actually buying with your money.

The second half of the book covers some easy and basic ways of evaluating stocks. There are countless ways to value a stock, and the ones covered in this book are for beginners, and gives them room to customize the process based on their own ideas. All the valuation tips are free online tools that anyone could find for themselves, but the book lays them out for you, and describes why it is a helpful indicator about a stock.

I have already recommended this book to friends who are interested in investing but have no idea where to start.

There is little information about ETFs and some of the other types in investments out there that can be done online, but then again, the title of the book is "how to buy STOCKS online".

Solid information without a sales pitch
By Amazon Customer
Currently, I have a 401k at work and it unfortunately only allows us to choose selected mutual funds for our investment choices. I always wanted to try my hand at buying individual stocks, and so I wanted a solid understanding about how to invest in them directly online. I searched for "how to buy stocks" on Amazon, and this book was the first result. In my opinion, the author does a really nice job with this book...especially with educating us about the myriad of financial terms and what they mean.

Probably the highlight of the book for me was her very detailed and thorough 10-step process for evaluating whether an individual stock would make a good purchase. I seriously loved this info. She used "Target (TGT)" as the example stock and walked through all 10 steps on why (or why not) the stock would be a good buy. Her thought process was explained through each step, and she provided handy online links to free research tools she uses to review the company.

One minor nit was the clip art she used in the book. I felt it was unnecessary and seemed "cheap" especially when I felt the information provided was so valuable. The stock market graphs, trend charts, and other relevant financial images were great...but the Microsoft-like clip art could be removed and no one would miss it. (just my opinion of course)

Finally, I really liked the fact that even though she is an investment advisor herself, she never once tries to sell the reader on her company or her services. That's a rarity in the financial services business these days.

TL;DR - Great book for a beginning investor who is interested in learning how to buy individual stocks vs. mutual funds

Straightforward and Easy
By The Rambling Reviewer
A great deal of, surprisingly, common sense, is present in this book.

Michelle clearly and concisely describes and demonstrates exactly how one might (and can) go about making a name for themselves in the formidable stock market exchange...

She never promises us riches and glory, though, never never. She leaves that up to our own intelligence and ability. She's just giving us a guideline, not a miracle manual.

She also never foists her own company on us. It is mentioned a few times, but I never felt pressured to run to her warm, Limited Liability embrace. That was a nice change. Never did I see, "This process is incredibly challenging if done alone, please give my associate a call at 1-800-Gimme-Money."

Most of the advice was easy to follow and intuitive for even the layman. Other bits were clearly something learned by someone well versed in the world and political spectrums of Wall Street. Having said that... She still manages to outline them in terms that are easy to grasp, understand, research and follow.

I've never delved into stocks, honestly, so I'm saying this from a beginner's perspective... This by far, was the easiest stock guide book for beginners I've ever seen. I regret the money spent on prior works and my only complaint is that wasn't brought to my attention sooner.

And I honestly think I could have a chance in the market after reading this. I don't think I'd ever get rich doing it... But I have a confidence that I could do well now, having such a great little teacher at my side. :)

Michelle... Thank you so much for your words of wisdom.
