Better than I thought it would be

Great as a quick reference guide for bodyweight cardio circuits. However, there need s to be more information on fitting this type of workout into an existing strength training program. The layout of the book makes it a little hard to put it all together. But there are some good ideas and gave me some new things to try.

Interval Workout Combination. Very good info and value

Quality info on workouts with good descriptions of exercises. I thought there was a lot of value in this electronic book. The exercises included a lot of variety. I like his strategy of linking exercises that stress different large muscle groups so there is a complete workout. He is also clever about avoiding exercises that have potential for injury. All his videos are fantastic. There were good combination workouts listed. The author really knows his stuff. My only criticism is if you are more than 30 yrs old it makes sense checking your heart rate and use it to help gauge recovery. Very few of these workout guides give any guidelines on safe heart rates and recovery. I found this book by reading about the legendary power coach Michael Boyle Who cited Ballantyne' s workouts as something he was using for his own workouts. The cost of this makes this book a screaming bargain.
